It’s been a number of years since I’ve been in the studio to record a personal project. “Everything” is a collection of worship songs that I hope you’ll enjoy and use for your personal worship. The entire process of this project was exciting from working with Bradley Knight, Michael Sykes, writers Jeff Ferguson, David M. Edwards, Jesse Shuster, my wife Kim, Christy Sutherland and all the incredible players and engineers. I trust as you listen to the songs, you’ll find yourself engaged in worship.

Perspectives on Worship: 52 stories, thoughts & insights is the first Experience Worship publication. The book is a collaborative project featuring 52 short articles from 26 authors on different aspects of worship designed to provoke thought and instigate conversations. Articles range from personal experiences and teachings on worship to illustrations and character sketches of Biblical worshipers. This book is ideal for small groups, worship teams, Bible studies, and discussion-based classes.

This is a brand new project unlike anything I’ve ever been part of. I worked with David M. Edwards to record a worship project that would take us back to the simplicity of hearing the lyrics and melody of a song. We decided to invite a few friends to sing along in a devotional setting during several of the tunes. David and I were recently honored with Worship Song of the Year from SongDISCovery and Worship Leader Magazine for this project’s title song “Let Your Holy Rain Fall Down”.
The theme is also very special to me. I love the rain. There’s one thing for certain: rain changes everything. It soaks and permeates everything it touches. I like to think of God’s presence as rain. When it begins to fall you don’t need an umbrella. You allow it to pour. There’s abundant healing and transformation that takes place when His rain flows. I want that more than anything.

This recording was such a blast in the studio. The background singers on a couple of the songs are simply amazing. I’m not supposed to use their names because of their record label, but you will instantly recognize the sound as soon as you hear the first few notes. One special thing about this project is the name itself. One late night I was sitting on the couch and begin to think about what experience worship really means. This thought process grew into the creation of an organization by the same name that explores practical ways to live life as a true experience of worship. There’s one song that stands out in my mind from all the projects I’ve ever recorded. Although this song wasn’t written specifically regarding this situation, “In God’s Hands” depicts where my wife Kimberlee and I were living when we were faced with infertility six years into our marriage. Infertility was a painful process to walk through. The lyrics from this song describe exactly what it was like for us living with that pain – or any pain, for that matter. Through a ministry project called “Hands of Hope”, 20,000 gift card/CD’s were printed to reach people who needed encouragement. We receive email from all over the country from people who have received the card and we continue to be blessed by their incredible stories. Once you’ve listened to the “Free to Dream” CD, I encourage you to give it to someone you know who needs support and encouragement.

This was the first instrumental project I recorded after moving to Nashville, TN. The selections are from a wide style variety, so if you like worship, jazz, and a little flamboyant style, this is the CD for you. One interesting note: the graphic designer, Craig Thompson from Disciple Design, won an Addy for the cover concept.

After receiving such good response from the first Hymns record, we went into the studio to record another batch of loved hymns. These are some of my favorites as well as some of yours, I’m sure. This CD will provide a backdrop for your devotion time or for just relaxing. One last note: it really is me playing but I recorded this project under my middle name and my mother’s maiden name, Timothy Webb.
